Kylie had a total of six singles released from her first album album worldwide. Her debut single released in 1987 was a cover of the Little Eva single "The Loco-Motion", written by Gerry Goffin and Carole King, which charted worldwide and went to number one in a total of eight countries, and peaked in the top ten of twenty countries, becoming one of Minogue's most successful singles to date.
